How to check your personal Outlook safe or blocked lists

The rules on the firewall block the majority of most SPAM messages.

If a SPAM email is going into the inbox for all users, it's possible the rule on the server can be modified to change this. In this case contact support@ipremise.net for assistance

However, if only one person or just a few people are experiencing the issue, a setting on the individual’s workstation is usually the best way to remedy this by redirecting the email to the junk folder on their computer.

For Outlook 2007

  1. Go to Tools - OptionsPreferences tab.
  2. Select the Junk Email button.
  3. The Safe Senders, Safe Recipients and Blocked Senders lists can be used to manage junk mail that has bypassed the rules on the firewall.

For Outlook 2010

  1. From the Home tab, in the Delete group, click Junk and select Junk E-mail Options.Outlook 2010 Junk email menu
  2. On the Safe Senders tab, click Add.OL2010 Junk E-mail Options
  3. Enter an e-mail address or domain name. For example: spammer@spammed.com
  4. Click OK.
