Changing your password is easy and takes just a few moments. There are multiple ways you can change your password.
1. if your computer is on your company domain you can enter CTRL-ALT-DEL, choose change password, and follow the prompts to enter a new password.
2. If you are remote or traveling a great option is to use Outlook Web Access (known as OWA). Simply browse to Outlook Web Access and logon. Most customers can get to Outlook Web Access by entering http://outlook.MYDOMAIN where MYDOMAIN is the last part of your email address (e.g. http://outlook.ipremise.net for an email address of firstname.lastname@example.org). Customers using our hosted Exchange product can browse directly to https://mymail.ipremise.net. Our Enterprise customers can browse to https://mail.MYDOMAIN/owa.
After logging on, you will see the Options dropdown in the upper-right corner. It will look like one of these examples depending on what version of OWA you are using.
For Example 1:
Click on Options and choose See All Options.
Select "Change your password" in the "Shortcuts to other things you can do" section of the page.
For Example 2:
Select Change password from the drop-down list.
Important Note: Your password needs to be at least 7 characters long and be complex. The password policy requires you to change the password every 90 days and keeps you from reusing the same password.
Tip: Don't forget to change the password on your other devices such as your cell phone or Ipad device by simply opening email (it will prompt to change) or going to the settings to make the change.
Remember, your password is the only way to keep people from stealing your personal and company data! See Tips and Tricks here.
