One of the most frequent questions we get is about transferring calls. There are two ways that calls can be transferred.

Warm (Attended) Transfer

Places the current call on hold and initiates a call with the transfer destination to confirm whether the call is wanted or not. The two calls are then merged together.

  1. During an active call press the Transfer button.
  2. Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call or choose from your directory and navigate to the desired contact.
  3. Press Send/Dial. The phone will begin ringing.
  4. Press the transfer button again when you are ready to transfer the call after you have spoken to the transferee.

Blind Transfer

Routes the call to a third party, the original call is ended, and no confirmation is made to determine whether the transferred call is answered or if the number is busy.

  1. During an active call press the Transfer button.
  2. Press the Blind button.
  3. Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call or choose from your directory and navigate to the desired contact.
  4. Press transfer. The call is then transferred.

Note: The receiving party will see a different caller ID depending on which way the transfer is done.

  • If the call is blind transferred then the caller ID will be of the call being routed.

If the call is warm transferredthen the receiving party see’s the ID of the sending party.
